Refuse Collections Update

Due to the severe weather in Harborough district last week, some bin collections in Harborough district were affected.

Crews are working very hard to catch up. Residents are being asked to leave bins presented. Extra resources are being made available to ensure that all collections happen.

Police can confirm the identity of a man who died following a road traffic collision in Leicestershire.

Sam Walton, 25, from Wigston, sustained fatal injuries after the car he was driving left the A426 Lutterworth Road in Dunton Bassett and collided with a tree.

Aggravated burglary in Dunton Bassett

Incident number: LEP-230417-117

Detectives investigating a burglary in a Leicestershire village are working to trace a vehicle stolen in the incident.

Three men were reported to have forced their way into a property in Bennetts Hill, Dunton Bassett, between 4am and 5am on Sunday 23 April where they stole keys to a grey Audi TT.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER:-

CHURCH LANE DUNTON BASSET

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

A closure is required at Church Lane Dunton Basset on the 10th April 2017 for a period of one day.
